Me

I am... a film-maker... a writer... a mother... among other things.

I like to tell stories. I like to make people laugh and cry. I struggle to maintain a balance between the different forms of storytelling I use. Sometimes I think I'm on overload. Sometimes I think it's fun. I don't like to exclude possibilities. So for the time being I combine a life of screenplays (and the longing to work with actors that writing them causes) with writing short stories and weighing up what my second novel will be about. I love the rush that writing flash fiction gives me.
